With the introduction of a complete line for processing flax waste. This included the acquisition of two Depoorter machines from Belgium, enabling exports to France and Belgium.

The company diversified into hackling flax by importing four state-of-the-art James Mackie machines, marking a pivotal turning point.

Egyflax ventured into spinning

Egyflax ventured into spinning, importing a complete line for producing thick yarn and six carding machines.
